Job Specification

The successful candidate will be providing full administrative and operational support to the Managing Director.  You’ll be responsible for effective delivery of day to day tasks, ensuring that the team have everything that they need to do their jobs, as well as taking care of all of the behind the scenes essentials.

You’ll need to be a natural ‘people-person’, with excellent organisation and communication skills, as the role will require liaison with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.  You’ll be involved with creating and implementing company processes & policies, HR duties, handling sensitive and sometimes complex issues in a professional, objective and discreet manner.

The role will principally incorporate the following tasks, although it will be varied and no two days will be the same!

  • Day to day operational and administrative support.
  • Corporate Governance assistance, including drafting and updating processes & policies in line with company guidelines.
  • HR support.
  • Research-based tasks relating to new products, ventures, markets and general industry trends.
  • Managing appointments, travel, and events.
  • Assisting with the introduction of new employees.
  • Liaison with staff, clients and suppliers.
  • Assistance with marketing / copywriting / social media activities.
  • Assistance with expenses, accounting and budgets.

You’ll be a key member of the team, primarily responsible for ensuring that the office is able to operate seamlessly, with all of the day to day details being managed and taken care of.

Requirements

You’ll need to be very organised, staying on top of a high workload, juggling priorities and managing expectations, while maintaining a good office atmosphere.  You’ll be working with new starters through to the management team along with external stakeholders, so you’ll need to be a good communicator, able to build and maintain good relationships, while passing along relevant information clearly and concisely.

Salary up to £24,500 dependent on experience
