REPAIRS AND REFITS
While the railway already had a website in place time moves fast in the web world and it was time for an overhaul. Looking at analytics for the site and listening to the railway team we focused on the key information which customers look for before visiting, working to create an intuitive and informative page to allow customers to easily plan their trip.
The new website was built using responsive techniques and up to date web technology, placing the new site on a solid foundation. We also incorporated essential features, including a dynamic timetable and calendar to allow customers to quickly see what was happening at the railway on any given day, something which had previously been tricky to work out at a glance due to a busy schedule and varying running times. With the ability to manage the timetable from the CMS using any device the ESR team were able to keep the site up to date, ensuring that customers could have the key facts right at their finger tips in order to plan their day via the website and then enjoy a seamless visit.
